Doug Bromage, recently named BC’s Residential Construction Person of the Year by BC Homes Magazine, joined InSight in 1993 and has been instrumental in leading Longwood to its current status. Having extensive Management experience on a wide variety of multi-family, commercial and industrial developments, Doug is responsible for all design, construction and approvals. He graduated with a Diploma of Architecture from Bath University, U.K. in 1970. Doug is very involved with the Vancouver Island community having acted as Director of the Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce, President of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association Central Vancouver Island, a member of the Nanaimo Advisory Design Panel and an Advisor to the Vancouver Island University Trades Program.
Tim Earle was retained by InSight in 1995 to prepare the business plan, arrange financing and act as InSight’s representative with respect to legal and financial matters for Longwood. A great fit, he stayed on to manage Longwood Station and InSight’s other commercial interests. Tim obtained his real estate license in 1981 and worked in the commercial real estate business leasing, selling and financing institutional quality assets.
Charles Koo is the sole director, officer and 100% owner of InSight Holdings Ltd. InSight Developments has a development management contract with InSight Holdings Ltd. in connection with InSight's communities.
George Hanson joined InSight in 2008 as Development Manager, furthering his dedication to growth and improvement on Vancouver Island. Well known for his achievements in community, organizational and economic development, George has a reputation for getting things done and ‘making a difference.’ As Managing Director of the Downtown Nanaimo Partnership, George led a comprehensive urban renewal initiative to considerable success, winning 11 provincial awards in 7 years. George has consulted for corporations, community organizations, District, Municipal, Provincial and Federal governments. He has served on the Destination Nanaimo Advisory Committee, Safer Nanaimo Committee, Board of Advisors for the Community Leadership and Innovation Institute at VI University, and on Executive Committees for Nanaimo Economic Development Group and Business Improvement Areas of British Columbia.
Terry Morton brings over 25 years of valuable construction management experience in residential, commercial, institutional and civil works, having managed over 226 million dollars worth of projects across Canada. He first worked with InSight as a consultant on the development of phase two through four of the Longwood Community and the construction of the Longwood Brew Pub. In spring 2006, he returned as project manager to spearhead all of InSight’s project undertakings.
Clara Ominger has been involved with the sales and marketing of InSight projects since 1998. Working closely with Doug Bromage, she focuses on everything from the conceptual design of buildings and determination of product mix to overseeing the development of all marketing related materials, sales training, sales strategy, presentation centres and show home design. Prior to 1998, Clara did project marketing for a national real estate company.
Kathy Stuparyk first joined InSight in 1997 as a project sales representative for the first two phases of the Longwood Community. After successfully completing her assignments, she moved on to market Bear Mountain Resort in Victoria. During that time she also worked on several other Victoria developments including Bayview and Dockside Green. More recently she worked on the sale of Atelier on Robson in Vancouver. Kathy rejoined InSight in 2007 to help develop strategic sales and marketing campaigns for all upcoming projects.
