Soon, InSight will be embarking on the development of a comprehensive new community in Parksville, just two blocks from City Hall and the Community Conference Centre. This exciting 26-acre property already has a city approved plan from its previous owner; however, we know that it can be greatly improved upon and with a well-executed community plan it has the potential of being transformed into a vibrant and diverse new neighbourhood.Since acquiring the property, we have focused on areas for improvement and have consulted the community-at-large, as well as the Mayor, city planners, school officials, the business community and other interested associations and groups to garner other ideas and suggestions. The two alternative concept options below are a direct result of these discussions.
